The ‘Junge Wilde’ (Young Guns) are dedicated chefs who break the cooking rules with passion and fun to create the best tastes. The young chefs were very enthusiastic about the styles of the Karlowsky Fashion collection, which they were privileged to wear for the event.
2,325 chefs under the age of 30 competed this year for the ‘Junge Wilde’ award, which is supported by Karlowsky Fashion. The candidates for the 2015 title, from Germany, Austria and Switzerland started the competition with the latest styles from Karlowsky Fashion. The perfectly kitted-out final winner, Matthias Bernwieser, won over the judges with his innovative and perfectly presented menu. He is the eleventh winner and the newest member of the tasteful cooking team.
Stefan Marquard, Head of the Judging Panel and founder of ‘Junge Wilde’ was wildly enthusiastic about the unique menus: “These were really crazy but, at the same time, very harmonious dishes. The young chefs are just amazing!”
