The two own brands of Gustav Daiber GmbH, James & Nicholson and myrtle beach, give an outlook on their new products for the coming year 2024. The range includes functional corporate fashion, warm workwear, crossover styles and even more colour combinations. Casual jackets in different variations and fashionable headwear are just a few of the new entries that stand out as highlights.
Funcionality combined with modern styles
Functionality combined with modern styles that can be used in many ways at work and after work: the expanded product portfolio by James & Nicholson and myrtle beach, which will be available from 2024, will include special highlights for an expressive look. One of these highlights is the fashionable Sherpa Jacket (JN1862) with hard-wearing, easy-care Sherpa fleece made of 100 per cent recycled polyester. Thanks to the full-length zip, elasticated cuffs and waistband, this cuddly, soft jacket is comfortable to wear. Two side pockets keep everything in place, whether it is work or leisure.
Another collection highlight is the Ladies’/Men’s Doubleface Jacket (JN1319/JN1320) in high-quality sweat fabric, which also uses sustainable materials. The hooded jacket is made predominantly of organic cotton and provides warmth on colder days with its sherpa lining made of recycled polyester. A drawstring on the hood and elasticated cuffs ensure a comfortable fit. The new Ladies’/Men’s Blouson (JN1335/JN1336) is particularly versatile. The highlight for business, promotion and lifestyle will be available in three colours and, thanks to its reversible design, offers two pieces in one, and thus countless combination options. The blouson is also easy care and a real space-saver: A total of four side pockets, two each with a zip and a press stud; they offer a lot of storage space.
The Winter Workwear Pants Strong (JN1861) are another new product in the portfolio and a highlight of the workwear range, which are particularly durable thanks to their hard-wearing mixed materials and tear-resistant triple stitching. With various pockets and a knee pad pocket reinforced with Cordura, these functional pants are ideal for everyday work and ensure visibility thanks to reflective elements. Their warm, roughened inner lining also makes them the perfect companion in winter and rounds off the existing workwear range. Whether short, long or lined, James & Nicholson now offers the right pants for every season.
An accessory highlight is the new Beanie with Patch Thinsulate (MB7407). With double knitting and an interlining made of Thinsulate, a heat-insulating fleece, the beanie is pleasantly warm. An eye-catcher is the wide brim with a cotton patch, which can be individually imprinted or embroidered on. A suitable product for warmer days is the new Fisherman Hat (MB6248). The trendy hat made of recycled polyester is available in one size; however, it can be adjusted by an elasticated cord. A lined sweatband makes it even more pleasant to wear.
Styles combining work and free time in a fashionable way
In the upcoming year, the product line will be extended in particular by jackets and vests. To start with, Ladies’/Men’s Jacket (JN1317/JN1318), which thanks to its sporty cut, cuts a fine figure both at work and during your leisure time. The shape-retaining interlock fabric with elasthane ensures a comfortable fit. Another new item is the Ladies’/Men’s Bonded Fleece Jacket (JN1321/JN1322) with a contrasting inside. The 2-layer fleece jacket is equipped with an anti-pilling effect on both sides in order to avoid the formation of nodules and fluff and it is available in a total of 7 colours from black/dark-grey to turquoise/dark-grey. The new Ladies’/Men’s Stretchfleece Jacket (JN1859/JN1860) is just as colourful. The comfortable Stretchfleece Jacket scores with its sporty look and warm, breathable fabric.
The Ladies’/Men’s Hybrid Vest (JN1327/JN1328) and the Ladies’/Men’s Hybrid Jacket (JN1329/JN1330) are practical options for sports activities. The new outdoor styles in an attractive mix of materials combine easy-care stretch fleece with quilted inserts at the front and back as well as on the hood. Their sorona AURA padding made of sustainable, breathable fabric, which consists of 37 per cent plant-based material, also provides pleasant warmth. The same applies to the Ladies’/Men’s Padded Vest (JN1331/JN1332) and the Ladies’/Men’s Padded Jacket (JN1333/JN1334). Both the quilted vest and jacket are made of easy-care recycled polyester and are water- and dirt-repellent thanks to Bionic-Finish Eco. As the yoke in the front and back is not quilted, both garments can be easily personalised by printing or embroidering.
Ladies’/Men’s Zip Cardigan (JN1325/JN1326) as well as Half-Zip Troyer (JN1324) are ideal for the in-between-seasons and for all those who prefer a classic look at work and during their leisure time. Both consist of 100 per cent cotton and impress with a light knit quality in muted colours. Another new versatile product is the Ladies’/Men’s Functional Polo (JN721/JN722). It impresses with side slits and contrast stripes on collar and sleeve cuffs, which lend a special extra to the professional appearance. At the same time, thanks to its breathability and moisture regulation, the easy-care polo shirt guarantees a high wearing comfort.
Professional and practical: the new Workwear 2024
In addition to the highlight, the lined work trousers (JN1861), there will also be other new products in the workwear range. The hard-wearing Hybrid Workwear Vest (JN1867) and Hybrid Workwear Jacket (JN1868) made of two-layer softshell material with a warm sherpa lining are particularly practical. They are water- and dirt repellent and, with several pockets and reflective elements, they are ideal for work. Both new products will be available in black and navy. This makes them ideal for combining with existing workwear items. The second duo of new products are the Ladies’/Men’s Padded Hybrid Vest (JN1863/JN1864) and the Ladies’/Men’s Padded Hybrid Jacket (JN1865/JN1866). Both versions are fully padded with sorona AURA, which makes them both warm and breathable. The integrated elasticated lining and elasticated cuffs also allow maximum freedom of movement. This makes the work vest and jacket perfect daily companions.
Right accessories for all weather conditions
The headwear and accessories product portfolio will also be expanded in the coming year. A new item is the high-quality 6 Panel Cap (MB6247) made of shiny fabric in the colours black, navy and silver. Thanks to embroidered ventilation holes, a lined sweatband and an adjustable clip fastener, a comfortable wearing comfort is guaranteed. This makes the cap ideal for sunny days.
myrtle beach by Daiber also has the right new products for the colder season: Double-knitted with elastane, the winter beanie (MB7405) is comfortable to wear. As a classic knitted beanie, it cannot only be combined in many ways, its contrasting stripe also lends the one-size beanie a special look. The new Coarse Knitted Beanie (MB7406) also impresses with a fashionable contrasting stripe. Both items are available in four different colour combinations. The Running Beanie (MB7123) is the perfect headgear for those who are out and about in low temperatures. The sporty running beanie is breathable and quick-drying, but still provides optimum insulation. Its roughened inside makes it comfortable to wear no matter how much you move. The same applies to the new Running Headband (MB7124), which provides ideal protection against the cold thanks to its width. In more extreme weather conditions, the Storm Hat (MB7404) offers all-round protection against cold and frost. The functional storm mask with a longer neck section keeps the warmth in, but is also breathable. Those who prefer to stay indoors can make themselves comfortable with the new Microfibre Fleece Blanket XL (JN1907) measuring 180 x 130 cm. The fluffy fleece blanket is also perfect as a gift thanks to its decorative packaging with sleeve.
Colourful for a clear signal
In addition to the new products, Daiber’s own brands James & Nicholson and myrtle beach also present an extended range of colours for existing products. The Basic T (8007/8008) has been supplemented with soft friendly pastel shades: vanilla, light blue, soft grey and jade green. The Basic Polo range (8009/8010) will also be extended by a fifth colour, namely, soft pink. In the workwear sector, the Knitted Workwear Fleece Jacket Strong (JN861/JN862) will be available single-coloured black and navy from 2024. This also applies to the Men’s Knitted Workwear Fleece Half Zip Strong (JN864). The Signal Workwear Jacket (JN1854) and its softshell version (JN1856) will be supplemented by the neon yellow/black colour combination for more visibility in the working environment. The Allweather Jacket (JN1179/JN1180) will be available in the colours neon green/black and neon orange/black in addition to neon yellow/black. Last, but not least there is the 6 Panel Sandwich Cap (MB024), which will be available in the colourway black/yellow.
