To meet growing demands of the textile market and thus the dealers’ developing needs, Gustav Daiber GmbH, located in Albstadt in the Zollernalb region, reorganised their sales department. A related measure was the changeover of the ERP-system (Enterprise Resource Planning) at the beginning of the year.

Since February 2022, the sales team at Daiber has been reinforced by additional support: Mario Besenfelder, an executive with sales experience in our sector, has joined the team focusing on wholesalers, workwear and purchasing associations. The international textile company took the chance to restructure their sales team in a future-oriented way.

In this context, Bärbel Krohmer, former Head of Sales, and Tobias Seidel, former Manager Marketing and Business Development, left the company at the beginning of May at their own request, with amicable and mutual agreement. ”For many years, both of them have demonstrated plenty of commitment for Daiber and have acquired great merits,” says Kai Gminder, Managing Director at Daiber in fourth generation. “We are greatly indebted to the two and wish them all the best for the future.”

In order for the many responsibilities in the sales department to be shouldered jointly in the future, Mario Besenfelder becomes Head of Sales and will be joined in this position by long-term brand ambassador and Key Account Manager Bernd Seeger for the restructured sales team. The two will take the leading positions on an equal level, each focusing on different parts of the daily sales business: Bernd Seeger will manage the back office, while Mario Besenfelder takes care of the field service activities.

Managing director Christof Kunze says: “We are very pleased to have found such qualified sales staff and executives for this new challenge. Moreover, we are convinced that with this team constellation we will be even more successfully working together with our dealers, business partners and employees in the future.”
