As of June 1, Silke Frank (41) – since 2010 the Project Director at PSI, the European Trade Fair of the Promotional Products Industry – took on the overall responsibility for all PSI trade fair operations in Germany and abroad.
Besides PSI in Düsseldorf, these include the jointly organised events PSI Promotion World in Hannover, IPSA in Moscow and PSI group stands at promotional-products trade fairs across Europe. With the new structure, PSI aims to enhance the continued strategic development and branding of these events while better leveraging marketing synergies.
In her new role of event and division director, the Düsseldorf native will be responsible for the overall management of all sales and marketing activities on behalf of PSI trade fairs.
The objective, says PSI Managing Director Michael Freter, is to reinforce the core sales effort and increase customer proximity: “Silke Frank is a down-to-earth strategic thinker who’s been at home in the international trade fair sector for over 14 years.”
