Primex and Sign Top held an open house on 6 February in the Primex office in Wieringerwerf, Holland, which attracted many visitors. During the open house Primex presented the new 2014 collection and visitors could also see the Ricoh SG 7100DN A3 sublimation printer, offered by Sign Top.
The new Primex 2014 collection includes 83 new products. New in the B&C collection are the DNM and Paradise collections. The DNM collection consists of a large number of items made of denim fabric such as jackets, sweatshirts and T-shirts and also aprons, handbags and even espadrilles and placemats. The Paradise collection is a summer collection and consists of T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and accessories such as espadrilles.
Fruit of the Loom is offering the new Lightweight Hooded Sweat Men, and Lady-Fit Hooded Sweat, a 240 g/m² sweater consisting of 70% cotton and 30% polyester and available in 14 colours.
New in the Helly Hansen collection is the Oslo H2 Flow Insulator jacket made with H2 flow technology. The jacket is a very lightweight jacket, and, because of the special patented H2 technology, the jacket is very warm and has mechanical ventilation.
Helly Hansen is now also offering safety shoes. “These safety shoes can be used in several professions such as in the oil and gas industry and also in agriculture and horticulture,” says Ruben Draaisma, Area Sales Manager, Holland.
New in the Sol’s collection are the “Portland” and “Practice” polo shirts for men and women with contrast-coloured details at the sleeves and buttons. “These contrast details make the polo unique and makes it look nicer than an ordinary polo shirt,” says Michelle Janhaoui from Sol’s.
Sublimation printer
“Sign Top and Primex have been collaborating for 20 years,” says Edwin Breemers, Director Marketing of Sign Top. “Our machines are used for the printing of garments and therefore we offer our customers the Primex garment collection in a separate leaflet. Our customers can now order the Primex collection directly from the new Primex webshop.”
The Ricoh SG 7100DN A3 sublimation printer drew a lot of attention during the open house. With this printer and Chemica Sublitex white polyester flex, it is possible to print good transfers on workwear. The printer prints the ink through the fabric, and because of this the transfers remain intact after chemical washing.
