SGIA’s Product of the Year competition awarded Insta Graphic Systems with the “partner” award for Model 828, which was used in the Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Metal winning transfer done by Sawgrass (Category 135: Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Metal Sawgrass with the Virtuoso VJ 628). The annual competition honors equipment and supplies that are advancing the specialty imaging industry.
Insta’s win for Heat Press Manufacturer honors Insta’s Model 828 Automatic Swing Away heat press machine which, with its 20″x25″ platens, is one of their largest machines. The 828 is frequently used in the sublimation market because of its oversized platens and its ability to generate even temperature & pressure – essential elements in the application of sublimation transfers.
