Sequins fixed with Polyneon 75, original height of the embroidery 6.5 cm

It is more and more important today to offer a high quality polyester thread for embroidery which is resistant to chlorine and bleach and which withstands frequent, heavy duty laundering. This is why Madeira decided to rework the Polyneon range. The new Polyneon shade card includes now 57 new plain colours, five additional fluorescent shades and 10 additional variegated tones in denim and casual colours.

Polyneon 75

Polyneon 75, the thinnest polyester embroidery thread for finest letters and details, is now offered in 30 colours. Madeira recommends needle size 60 for this special thread and the company is now also offering this needle type. Polyneon 75 is also the perfect thread for sequin embroidery.

Polyneon FR No.40

Polyneon FR No.40 is now available in 34 colours. A special polyester fibre treatment makes the thread flame retardant, perfect to use on textiles in hotels, hospitals, exhibitions , etc.

Madeira recommends to use this thread as bobbin thread as well to ensure requirements for flame retardant embroidery are met.

Polyneon 60

Madeira offers already 100 colours in the fine thread count Polyneon 60.
