Laser-Engraving

When it comes to making accurate cuts, the flexible laser technique is more and more used in all industries. The ‘laser tool’ is an efficient alternative to conventional processes for both small-series and industrial-mass productions. Eurolaser GmbH presents the benefits of the laser systems at the Texprocess show.

Determining advantages of using the laser technique are, especially for non-contact processing by means of the laser beam, the resulting distortion-free cuts as well as the high precision. Not only modern textiles, spacer structures and multi-layer materials, fleece and needle-punch but also glass-fibre textiles, heat-resistant and other technical textiles are cut with lasers.

Concept of the stand

Eurolaser presents itself with a surprisingly fresh stand concept. Many seating arrangements and an unusual ambience invite visitors to linger. However, it is not only the stand that comes with a new concept. “For our laser systems there is a large variety of application fields. Because our technique is always specially adapted to the customers’ needs, not all the machines are constructed identically. This means for us on a trade show that we are only able to show part of our range. Therefore, we now use videos more and more in order to show visitors the machines with their respective options, which have been specifically adapted to the needs of the customers. With this, we can show the benefits of special configurations in a much better way,” says Reinhard Heibutzki, Product Manager of Eurolaser.

In order to give customers a better understanding of Eurolaser’s technique, the recognised laser-system manufacturer uses innovative methods. On the video portal eurolaser.tv, customers and interested people can look all around laser cutting and marking comfortably from their homes. They simply select a video, start it with a click of the mouse and they can see the high-end laser systems in action. The extensive video archive with plenty of application examples offers informative entertainment all about the laser-technique topic. This portal is a continuation of the approach of the trade-show concept, to focus on multimedia content.
