Laser-Engraving

Whether promotional and merchandising articles such as caps, bags, teddy-bears or garments and textile interior accessories – all the products from the textile industry can be personalized quickly with a fine logo, a detailed emblem or entire letterings. But this is not all: At the Texprocess in Frankfurt cameo Laser Franz Hagemann GmbH will show that these devices can much more.

At booth B92 in hall 6.0 the visitors of the trade-show can see live, how different fabrics, such as velvet, leather or denims are decorated with a branding effect with an Epilog Zing 24 laser device. “This cannot be achieved with a common embroidery machine”, underlines Michael Ebel cameo Sales Manager West and contact person at the show. The laser can also decorate softshell without damaging the water-repellent coating. Also applying rhinestones and other textile decoration processes will be shown – “it is also possible to operate the machine to see, how easy it is to use”, continues Michael.

Bulky pieces

Besides the Zing 24 his company will also show the compact Epilog Helix. With the large working area of 609 x 457 x 273 mm of this machine it is possible to work simultaneously with several products or especially thick pieces, such as winter jackets. „Due to its depth we can also place bulky pieces in the laser. This is a great advantage for the textile and embroidery industry”, says Michael Ebel, who also shows an innovative material: Laserflex 2.
This development makes it possible to apply flex letterings in an easy manner on fabrics. Contrary to use a film cutter it is here not necessary to weed the motive. This enables to produce filigree emblems with few working steps. Laserflex 2 is also easier to press and then the carrier material can be easily removed. “This saves working time and costs”, explains Michael Ebel.
