DCS introduces the Flex33 printer

The new Flex33 printer from Direct Color Systems (DCS) is the first available small-format solvent inkjet roll-to-roll desktop printer for signs, banners, POP, decals, heat transfers, vehicle graphics, labels and other flexible media.

Calibrated for use with DCS’s UV-stable and pigment-solvent MultiSolve inks, the Flex33 utilizes micro-piezo head technology.

This DCS printer accepts rolls of media up to 5” (127 mm) in diameter and 13” (330 mm) in width and allows for a maximum continuous printable size of 12.5” x 10’ (317×3048 mm). With an optimized resolution of up to 5760 dpi, it prints directly onto a vast range of standard uncoated media, available from many vendors.

Shipped with Complete RIP, RIP and Cut, and print profile options, this new product is a complete solution. RIP and Cut allows the user to print on textile heat transfer or vinyl and contour cut using a plotter.
