Stitch & Print International issue 1-2024

In this edition

As usual, many trade shows will take place this new year. PSI Trade Show for the Promotional Products Industry kicked off in Düsseldorf on 7 January. With exhibition space sold out and a further rise in visitor numbers, the atmosphere was optimistic. You will find the show report in this issue.

We also look ahead at the FESPA events and Techtextil/Texprocess  shows. For the first time, Sportwear Pro show will take place alongside the other FESPA events. There will be many new products to discover at these events. At Techtextil, you will discover twelve areas of application full of extraordinary products that are being used in a whole range of different industries. At Texprocess, you will find textile and flexible materials alongside the latest machinery, equipment, processes and services for manufacturing garments. The spectrum of products to be seen ranges from sewing technology and materials, embroidery technology, fastening, CAD/CAM and cutting to recycling technologies and much more. You will find the previews in this issue.

During FESPA 2023 in Munich, robot arms were shown for the first time. Because of the growing demand for automation, Chris van Antwerpen and Bastiaan Krijger were interviewed on the use of robot arms in the printing industry. You will find the interview in this issue.
