Fruit of the Loom is celebrating ‘the beautiful game’ this summer with the launch of its new football microsite, ‘play for the winning team’.
This page features a large colour wheel that displays the names and international home and away team kit colours of all the leading European football nations.
Clicking on the team of your choice links through to the relevant team page, which contains a photograph of a Valueweight T. Clicking on the page’s ‘home’ or ‘away’ tabs displays the product in the either the home kit or alternative/away strip colourway.
‘Back’ and ‘next’ tabs allow visitors to click through photographs of all the Fruit of the Loom garment styles that are available in the team’s colours, along with a product description of each style. ‘Mens Sizes’, ‘Ladies sizes’, and/or ‘Kids Sizes’ graphics appear, as appropriate, to indicate matching products.
The home page and each team page also include a star players link, which takes the visitor through to a fun section that highlights Fruit of the Loom’s ‘first team’ of 11 best-selling styles. The ‘free designs’ link will take visitors to a section of the site where they are able to download, free of charge, three copyright-free, football related designs for use on football themed merchandise.
The colour wheel on the home page also includes a design your garments tab. This links to a section that provides visitors with the tools to create virtual samples of football-themed designs on any Fruit of the Loom garment, in a matter of minutes, free of charge.
The final tab on the home page colour wheel is ‘club house’. Clicking on this will take visitors through to the Fruit Club section of the main Fruit of the Loom website. Here, visitors have access to a locker full of marketing support tools designed to help them promote their business and football-related designs.
