The Premier PRINT Awards was borne from the convergence of the most advanced awards programs in the printing industry: SGIA’s Golden Image Award, Printing Impressions’ Gold Ink Award, Packaging Impressions’ Excellence Award, and the Printing Industries of America ‘Benny’ Award. These awards collectively provided the foundation for a unified awards program that recognizes the best of the best in printing and graphic communications.

“As our organizations came together to create a more robust association to collectively serve the printing industry, we realized it was similarly advantageous to offer our members and participants a streamlined awards program that reflects convergence in the printing industry while also highlighting the various market segments represented,” said Joseph Marin, Senior Vice President, Education and Training, PRINTING United Alliance. “We are excited to see the exemplary work being produced across industry channels and look forward to spotlighting these entries to the marketplace.”

The Premier PRINT Awards is an all-inclusive industry competition that reflects all areas and categories of print—screen, offset, digital, wide format, flexographic, letterpress, gravure printing, and embellishments/enhancements—produced by commercial printers, sign/display shops, package printers/converters, in-plants, trade binderies/finishers, graphic designers, and students. Student entries are free for any educational institution member of PRINTING United Alliance. The premier event highlights the extraordinary work that is produced in the industry for customers

How to Enter
Entries must reflect work produced between May 1, 2020 and June 15, 2021 and should be free of obvious imperfections. Identify the appropriate category in which to enter your piece. For each entry that is submitted, complete the required fields in the online entry system. Print out the packing slip and submit it with each piece by June 30, 2021.

The winners of each category will be automatically entered into the Best of Category Award and, from there, the Best of Category winners will be assessed for the Printed Product of the Year Award. PRINTING United Alliance plans to celebrate our winners with a special press event and awards photoshoot at the PRINTING United Alliance booth during the PRINTING United Expo in October in Orlando, Florida. Winners will also be featured in the PRINTING United Journal.
