Developed in Sydney Australia by Pigment.inc, the new GoTx Fabric Pre-coater offers the capability to pre-coat a variety of textiles with cotton and polyester being the most common types of fabrics.
The coating delivery system uses an atomizing nozzle that lays the correct type of pre-treatment solution on the textile without wetting the reverse side. According to Steve Richardson, Managing Director at Impressions Technologies, “the wetting technology we are employing does not change the hand or the structure of the fabric. Additionally, with the quad horizontal heating elements the coated fabric is dried
almost immediately.”
Fixation and pre-coating
Offered in either 74-inch or 104-inch sizes, the pre-treatment units were developed to be used as a fixation station as well for pre-coating. With a price point of $30,000 for the 74-inch unit and $35,000 for the 104-inch version.
