Fruit of the Loom has launched five new garment designs for 2011, which mark a further expansion of the valueweight t range, the reinvention of the heavy polo, and the launch of the company’s first ever women’s outdoor fleece.
The new tank top, lady-fit valueweight v-neck t, and lady-fit valueweight long sleeve t are all made from Fruit of the Loom’s 100% cotton valueweight fabric base, (160/165 gm/m2), and feature cotton/lycra® rib necks for extra comfort and superior shape retention.
The lady-fit valueweight v-neck t is the perfect partner to the men’s valueweight v-neck t, with its deep ‘v’, short sleeves and shaped side seams emphasising its feminine appeal. The t-shirt is available in sizes XS-XL and six colours -white, sunflower, black, red, pink and deep navy.
The new lady-fit valueweight long sleeve t features a scooped neck, shaped side seams and a taped neckline. It is available in sizes XS-XL and comes in a choice of black or white colours.
The tank top is inspired by current retail trends, and bridges the sports and fashion markets. It boasts a contemporary ‘sleeveless’ silhouette, classic crew neck and deep armholes finished with 1×1 rib cotton/lycra. Perfect for sports casual wear, club uniforms, and music merchandising, it comes in five colours – white, black, red, heather grey and deep navy – and sizes S-XXL.
The heavy polo has been completely redesigned to offer additional premium features at a more competitive price point. The new polo, in 100% cotton (230/240 gm/m2), has a stand-up collar, self-fabric placket with three self-colour buttons, 1×1 rib sleeve cuffs, and a back yoke. It is available in five colours – white, black, charcoal, deep navy and brick red – and comes in sizes S-XXL.
The lady-fit full zip fleece is made from the same 100% polyester pill-resistant fleece fabric (300 gm/m2) as the men’s full zip fleece. However, the lady-fit design has covered front and pocket zips, and adds a shorter body length and shaped side seams for a gently waisted, feminine silhouette. The jacket is available in five core colours – black, bottle green, red, royal blue and deep navy – all of which are also available in the men’s full zip fleece. Sizes range from S-XXL.
