Themes at the fair are not only the new technical developments in the machinery sector, but also the large variety of application areas. These days all types of textiles can be printed on, and effects can be produced on practically all materials.
The demand from companies for individualised custom-made products is also growing. And the possibilities seem to be unlimited. As a result, textile finishing is not only a theme in the advertising and the processing industries, but also in the areas of sports and leisure clothing, in design, shop fitting and trade fair construction, architecture and decoration, to name but a few..
BEST of 2012 Award
The viscom BEST of 2012 Award is also granted in the categories of Textile Finishing – Machinery, Material and Tools and in large Format Printing/LFP, to name but a few, in order to distinguish exhibitors for products, technologies or processes. All exhibiting companies which can present trends and innovations in the respective categories can participate. The prize is also awarded in the Signmaking, Light Advertising and Software categories. The award presentation ceremony will be held on the first day of the trade fair, 25 October 2012.
