Kornit Digital and their client, the company WiesingerShirt from Reutlingen, Germany, invite to an open house event that will take place in Reutlingen. WiesingerShirt is the first company in Europe that uses the Kornit Avalanche DC Pro.

The water-based pigment inks from Kornit can even be used for printing clothes for babies and toddlers. It is proved to be free of harmful substances and therefore certified with the ‘Oeko-Tex Standard 100′. Thanks to the integrated pre-treatment process the printer achieves an extraordinary bond of colour pigments to the textile fibre and with this a high wash-resistance, which is documented by the AATCC certificate.

The pigment inks, which are used on all Kornit systems, are suited to print different fabrics, from cotton over polyester blends up to silk. Even denims and leather can be printed by the Kornit printing-systems. With the use of white ink it is furthermore possible to print on light and dark textiles with the same ink kit in one single run.

The optionally available discharge process uses a liquid to bleach coloured textiles before applying the Kornit inks. Afterwards the printer prints exactly onto the bleached areas. As there is no white ink used as an underlayer for the colours, the ink deposit is nearly not noticeable, which eliminates the usual ´sticker effect´.

The open house event will take place on Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Reutlingen German, Unter den Linden 27/1. Register by e-mail or with the register form on the homepage.
