With 16,000 visitors – including Techtextil visitors who also attended Texprocess – from 86 countries to Frankfurt am Main, Texprocess had a successful debut. 330 international technology leaders from 40 countries presented the complete spectrum of their innovative and high-tech solutions for the apparel and textile-processing industries.
For members of VDMA Garment and Leather Technology, the première of Texprocess exceeded all expectations. Elgar Straub, General Manager of VDMA, said: “The combination of Texprocess and Techtextil is exactly what the sector needed and this combination proved to be a great success among both exhibitors and visitors.”
There was also an excellent reaction to the Texprocess Forum and the high-grade lectures on sourcing, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Altogether, 943 participants attended the 42 lectures, which were spread over all days of the fair.
Over 60 companies from 19 countries made presentations at Texprocess Source it! and they were satisfied with the quality and the concept of the event. “The exhibitors were extremely pleased with the high level of internationality and decision-making authority of the trade visitors,” said Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt.
The première has shown that the Texprocess concept is the way forward. 95% of visitors said they were satisfied with the range of products to be seen at Texprocess.
