Trade fairs and events
At Fespa Digital in Hamburg (hall A4, booth D20), Mimaki will present an eco-friendly printing solution with its range of inkjet printers, the UJV-160 and CJV30 series.

Through co-operation with leading media suppliers; Avery Dennison and MACtac, Mimaki will demonstrate the ability to be increasingly environmentally responsible without compromising quality.

Mimaki’s UJV-160 large format hybrid printer employs UV LED curing technology, which features a low ambient heat resulting in substantial energy savings coupled to the ability to print to heat sensitive media. Additionally, Mimaki’s UV LED curable inks are available in reusable 600cc ink packs and contain a low level of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

At Fespa, the UJV-160 will be printing on non-PVC film from Avery Dennison. The media features solvent-free adhesive and eliminates any halogen-related disposal concerns, allowing users to print at a high quality (up to 1200 x 1200dpi) with a smaller environmental footprint.

Mimaki’s outdoor durable, integrated inkjet printer/cutter; the CJV30 Series, will print at the exhibition using Mimaki’s ES3 eco-solvent inks on self-adhesive non-PVC media from MACtac. This combination creates a more environmentally friendly printing solution for producing superior quality outdoor and indoor signs such as window graphics, posters, and labels. The Mimaki CJV30 Series consumes relatively little ink and requires a very small amount of media heating which in turn, results in low energy consumption.

Visitors to the booth will also be able to see almost the whole portfolio of Mimaki’s printers and cutters. The brand new JV34-260 can be run with aqueous dye sublimation inks for transfer printing to eco-friendly polyester, or with solvent inks for outdoor durable banner output, will be showcased in the latter format, showing its high quality printing capabilities and productive speeds.

In addition, Mimaki’s latest UV innovations will be on display, including the recently launched JFX-1631plus flatbed printer which can print 80% faster than its predecessor. The Mimaki UJF-3042 compact tabletop UV LED printer, now capable of printing with highly creative clear ink, is also on the Mimaki stand and will demonstrate a variety of applications, such as small signs and promotional products.

Last but not least, textile professionals amongst the visitors can expect an appealing overview of Mimaki’s digital printing solutions for soft signage and apparel, with the super wide JV5-320DS, as well as the new high capacity Tx400-1800D and Tx400-1800B, reinforcing Mimaki’s peerless heritage in the textile printing market. The Tx400-1800B features a newly developed adhesive belt carrier system and will print with reactive ink during the show.

With over 13 years experience producing textile inkjet printers, the latest offerings deliver a raft of environmentally friendly production features, coupled to impressive print speeds and Mimaki’s typical high build and output quality.
