From 30 March to 1 April, 2023, TecStyle Visions trade show for textile finishing and promotion will take place again as part of EXPO 4.0. at the Stuttgart trade fair centre. Across 20,000 square meters of exhibition area, national and international companies will present their products related to textile finishing. achinery and accessories for all textile printing processes, as well as for embroidery, flaking and laser engraving, will be shown.

Exhibitors

Well-known big names and newcomers to the industry are looking forward to the first event since Covid. This sense of excitement and anticipation is reflected in the exhibitors' enthusiasm about taking part. So, most of the regular TecStyle Visions exhibitors will be back again in 2023. For example, Karl Gröner GmbH is showing some novelties in the field of 3D printing, with its Tractus3D printers and large format digital print with HP Latex, Epson and Roland DG printers. Print&Cut Systems and cutting plotters with machines from Summa, and sublimation printing using systems from Epson, are also not to be missed. In addition to this, Gröner is presenting a CWT flat-bed laminating tableandtransfer presse from SEFA. Whereas SIMON GmbH will be at the trade fair with a fully automatic textile folding machine: “The T-APPAREL is part of the portfolio of our Belgian partner DEKKEN Machinery. Another highlight is also the automatic textile printing carousel from the model series WISE by our Portuguese partner KTK", says Michael König, Managing Director of SIMON GmbH, about the company presence at the trade fair.

However, among the exhibitors, there is also a bunch of new companies. For example, Lagerkarton Systembox GmbH manufactures produces sustainable

storage cartons for textiles. So not only is the company's participation in TecStyle Visions in itself a première, but their product has also never been in the exhibitor portfolio before. “Especially in this day and age, environmental awareness is omnipresent. Sustainable storage for textiles will soon be unavoidable", explains Sebastian Welp, Managing Director of Lagerkarton Systembox GmbH. And he continues: “We are delighted about the trade fair in Stuttgart. We expect to meet many of our customers and to inspire many of them with our storage solution.”

Also exhibiting for the first time will be the printing press manufacturer Pigment.Inc BV with its new range of DTG and hybrid DTG/DTF Q-Series machines, which can be used to finish both natural and synthetic fabric types. “We are looking forward to meeting professional visitors and industry colleagues in person at the trade fair" said Robert Wade, Editorial Content at Pigment.Inc.

Another manufacturer in the direct-to-garment field is Kornit Digital. The company presents for the first time its new energy-on-demand smart-curing system for manufacturing of durable and high-value textiles. In addition, visitors have the opportunity to see the digital MAX technology textile printing machines live. Directto-garment and direct-to-film are currently highly popular in the textile finishing industry and, besides Pigment.Inc and Kornit Digital, there are also many other manufacturers , but also traders, presenting the related machinery.

When it comes to keywords for industry-relevant topics, sustainability is also right at the forefront. One company that is increasingly incorporating this topic into its trade show presence is Stanley & Stella: “In all our collections, we use GOTS-certified biocotton as well as recycled cotton, recycled polyester, recycled nylon, each of them GRS-certified. Sustainability is therefore a matter of course for almost every item at our stand” said Michel Hublet, Head of Sustainability at Stanley & Stella.

RESULT Clothing also integrates the theme of sustainability into the trade fair concept: “Besides new products, at TecStyle Visions 2023 we are also focussing on

products from our RECYCLED assortment. We look forward to a busy show with a focus on sustainability and quality business leads from all over Europe", declares Sara Sanders-Smith, Director at RESULT Clothing. The full list of exhibitors can be seen at the TecStyle Visions website from February.

Three special shows to look at, touch and take part in

Three special shows to look at, touch and take part in TecStyle Visions has had the topic of sustainability as an event in its trade show program for some time, e.g. with the special show Fair.Eco.Bio.: In the Ceratizit Hall (Hall 3) the trade fair visitors can find out about fair trade, sustainable products and ecological manufacturing processes in the textile finishing industry and also can print their own sustainable T-shirts. Borchert and Moller provides the machinery and accessories for this and printing is done with environmentally friendly, water-based colours. FAIR TOWEL is here for the first time as a sponsor. The young towel brand with 100% fair trade certified cotton is available exclusively from L-Shop Team. Neutral, on the other hand, as well as HRM Textil, donates the Tshirts that can be printed at the Fair.Eco.Bio stand. Beyond the Fair.Eco.Bio. special show, Neutral also sponsors organic quality bags for all visitors of TecStyle Visions.

In the TecCheck Area in Hall 5 a creative theme is embroidered with the motto “Pimp your logo – Innovatives Stickdesign” [Pimp your logo – Innovative embroidery design]. Here, experts show how the embroidered logo becomes an eye-catcher through technique and material, but the recognizability is maintained. Any companies who are interested have an opportunity to reinterpret their logo. Partners here are ConStitch Stickdesign, Gustav Daiber as textile sponsor, Reiner Knochel Textile Experience as well as Walz Solutions, the Sigmaringen Fashion School and Gunold GmbH. “I am looking forward to meetings and talks with people from the textile finishing industry. TecStyle Visions was always a magnet and a mood barometer in this field”, said Stephan Gunold, Head of Marketing at Gunold GmbH. The company supplies embroidering materials for the TecCheck Area.

The TecStyle Fashion Show will be again a highlight of the fair. Under the motto“One million colours”, the participating textile producers are exhibiting their

collections of Promotionwear, Workwear and Corporate Fashion in Ceratizit Hall (Hall 3). Visitors can enjoy the show four times every day. The sustainability topic appears again here, too: Among the textile companies participating so far there is, for example, RESULT, which is presenting its RECYCLED assortment at the fashion show. Other companies are AYSOY Textile, Falk & Ross, JHK T-Shirts, Gustav Daiber, AWDis and Native Spirit.

The specialist forum rounds off the trade fair program. The panel discussions and lectures offer valuable know-how and suggestions on the subject of textile finishing in the specialist forum. Kornit Digital will be present here with the digital print topic, along with Walz Solutions, who are concerned with the topic of embroidering. In addition, the German Institutes for Textile and Fiber Research Denkendorf , with content on customizing, are represented among the presenters. Experts will speak about trends in the textile industry, providing insider information on current developments: The entire agenda of the specialized forum will be available at the website from February.
