At the Puncher Convention N°2 on 9 October at Hakro in Schrozberg the embroidery experts Barbara Stümer, Dennis Ermert, Massimo Baezzato and Detlef Schimmel will share their designer experience. Together they have more than 100 years of professional experience in punching and embroidery.

The experts have already passed on their knowledge in numerous lectures, seminars, workshops and technical papers, and they are also multiple prize winners of the Golden Shirt Award and other competitions. At the second Puncher Convention they will explain in their workshops the professional creation of embroidery data, the basis for good embroidery and satisfied customers.

The event is aimed for commercial embroiderers who want to network in the industry, who already have experience in creating embroidery data and want to deepen their knowledge. Participants will learn efficient work steps from the idea to the finished embroidery file, experience the advantages and disadvantages of manual and automatic punching processes, learn all about the sense and purpose of embroidered documents, receive tips and tricks on effects, materials and processes and discuss the value of professional punching. In the workshops they exchange ideas with other punchers and benefit from the wealth of experience in the industry.

Exhibition

The all-day event will be complemented by an exhibition of suppliers of embroidery machines, embroidery materials and accessories for embroidery. Besides host Hakro and media partner TVP, the companies Gunold, TexDesign, Mountek, Barudan Stickmaschinen, Borchert + Moller, Melco International and Thomas Wiesenthal (individual and group training) will present their products and services. Hakro offers interested parties a guided tour through the textile manufacturer’s new logistics centre.

The event will take place in compliance with all Corona hygiene rules that will be in force until then. Should the convention not be able to take place for the known reasons, the Academy for Textile Finishing will look for an alternative date. Academy director Stefan Roller-Aßfalg: „In the event of postponement, cancellations are of course possible with full reimbursement of costs. Interested parties can therefore secure their places without risk.“
