OKI Data Americas announces the addition of a new distribution partner in the transfer market for apparel decorating and hard goods.
The new distribution partner is Imaging Supplies Warehouse (ISW). At SGIA Expo in Las Vegas this newly-signed plus existing partner, Graphics One, demonstrated OKI textile transfer printers.
The pro920WT digital colour printer and 711WT desktop A4 digital colour printer deliver a range of high-impact and cost-effective transfer printing solutions for an ever-increasing array of specialty applications including textiles and hard surface materials. What also makes these devices so appealing is their ability to produce custom output on demand – whether for one piece or thousands of pieces, says OKI Data Americas.
Textile transfer printing
The commercial-grade OKI pro920WT and 711WT are textile transfer printing with the ability to deliver custom output quickly, easily and efficiently – without the time, expense and mess of traditional screen printing methods. Both units print at up to 1200 x 600 dpi resolution to deliver clear, crisp text and graphics. With textile transfer printing capabilities on an expanding range of substrates that now includes leather, hard surfaces, and both light and dark fabrics, these printers offer a compelling value proposition as viable alternatives to screen printing with their speed, accuracy, and high-quality output.
“With increased demand and growing market opportunity in the textile transfer space, OKI Data Americas is excited to bring Imaging Supplies Warehouse on board as a distribution partner to complement Graphics One in service to this industry,” said Rich Egert, General Manager of the Strategic Technology Provider Business Group for OKI Data Americas. “Imaging Supplies Warehouse brings extensive experience in the textile transfer printing arena and will strengthen OKI’s ability to expand our footprint in this space.”
ISW and Graphics One are authorized resellers of the OKI pro920WT and 711WT, and serve as national distribution partners for both devices throughout the US. Currently, ISW supports more than 100 dealers in the transfer market with a primary focus on substrates and materials.
