The premiere of the ESC-Impress at drupe 2012 was marked by a remarkable deal of attention. In response to their customers’ feedback ESC has incorporated a multitude of new features into the technical conception of this fully-automatic stop cylinder screen printing machine. As a result the ESC-Impress convinces with high-quality components, utmost print precision and optimum ease of use.

Additionally, ESC offers a new UV-dryer. With its enhanced features like a higher lamp capacity of 160W/cm along with increased and infinitely variable conveyance speed of up to 50 m/min. the dryer constitutes an ideal supplement to the ESC-Impress and definitely broadens the field of application, according to the manufacturer.

The printing line displayed at the fair consisting of sheet feeder, stop cylinder screen printing machine with attached UV-dryer and automatic sheed stacker, was not only interesting for screen printing shops but also for those offset printing shops who implement the screen printing technique for UV finishing of their products.

Digital

Digital printing was another dominating topic at drupa. In cooperation with Inktec, ESC presented a new digital printing solution. ESC-Jetrix 1212 is a UV flatbed printer with a compact and attractive print size of 1220x1220 mm. Thanks to the outdoor-resistant UV-inks, this machine ideally lends itself for both industrial applications and sign making. The print size can easily be extended to 2440 mm in length by means of an optional roller table. ESC-Jetrix 1212 achieves sharp and high-resolution prints and is capable of printing 2 or 3 layers at a time.

It makes no difference if the task is to print on glass, paper or plastics, as ESC Jetrix 1212 is able to process a wide range of different materials.
