Laser cutting of textiles

Eurolaser GmbH will be at Fespa in Amsterdam, Holland. The textile market is developing very strongly. This ranges from technical textiles such as filter media through to plush fabrics for the soft toy industry. These are typical materials to be cut using eurolaser systems.

Naturally, eurolaser also offers a solution for cutting printed materials with the automatic recognition system Positionplus. The CCD camera is installed directly on the processing head and searches for the workpiece using defined fiducial marks at the start of the processing procedure. In this manner, printed, woven or embroidered registration marks, as well as edges or other high-contrast contours, can be visually scanned. The actual position and dimensions of the workpiece are thus recognised exactly and taken into account for further processing.

Milling Tools and Knives

Despite laser high tech, eurolaser does not lose sight of the traditional processing methods. The modular design of the laser systems allows the operator to use up to two mechanical tools in parallel to the laser. Customers can avail of the entire high quality tool range produced by Zünd Systemtechnik AG of Switzerland. In addition to milling tools, countless knives and scoring, marking and stamping tools are available. This provides the ideal opportunity to combine the advantages of different processing methods – all on just one machine. A processing machine that is uniquely versatile in its variation possibilities. This modular design principle allows eurolaser to open up completely new manufacturing horizons for its customers.
