The embroidery seminars of Gunold GmbH started in 2003 under the motto “Professional embroidery made easy”. The offer quickly advanced to a successful model. Since then, the embroidery specialist from Stockstadt, Germany, has been able to impart comprehensive embroidery and punch know-how in the German-speaking area to around 2,000 embroiderers and newcomers. In cooperation with the Academy for Textile Finishing (Aka-Tex), the seminar offers are now to be made available to an even broader market from on autumn 2020.
Gunold’s previous offers with a focus on embroidery have already complemented the Aka-Tex seminar programme very well in the past, with topics such as textile printing, digital printing, textile merchandise knowledge and more. From now on the two partners bundle the offer for education and training and make it accessible to a wider audience together.

I am therefore pleased to be able to offer the Gunold seminars for embroiderers and punchers to a wide range of participants starting next autumn under the umbrella of Aka-Tex.”
The seminars will take place as before at the Gunold company in Stockstadt as well as at other partners of the Academy for Textile Finishing in Germany and Austria. At the Puncher Convention on 9 October at Hakro in Schrozberg, Gunold will also be present as a partner. In addition to various embroidery and punching seminars with the trainers Massimo Baezzato from ConStitch and Dennis Ermert from embcon, seminars such as “Textile Warenkunde“ (Textile Product Knowledge) and other seminars will be offered in partnership with Gunold in Stockstadt and elsewhere in the future.
The joint events of Aka-Tex and Gunold are Puncher Convention N°2, Creative embroidery in fashion, Textile product knowledge, All about embroidery materials, Intensive punching and Screen Printing Convention.
All events will take place in cooperation with Signforum24 and the trade fairs PromoTex Expo, viscom and PSI.
