During the Drupa show in Dusseldorf, Germany, Bordeaux Digital Printink launched PRDS, a new environmentally friendly water-based ink for direct and transfer printing on textiles.
With good nozzle stability and performance on Epson print-heads and high ink density, the PRDS produces intense and vibrant colours as well as excellent colour fastness and low fumes during fixation. This water-based ink is suitable for both direct printing on fabrics or transfer printing, and it is available in bulk and cartridges.
First latex water-based resin ink
At Drupa, Bordeaux also launched its first Latex water-based resin ink designed for Piezo Drop-on-Demand print-heads instead of the commonly used Thermal Drop-on-Demand print-heads. The Latex ink benefits from the quality achieved with solvent-based inks with the environmental advantage of water-based inks.
