DTG M Series

18 April 2011 - Marijke Kuypers

The newest development in the DTG Digital range from Impression Technology Europe (ITE), is called: the M series. This range offers unparalleled speed and ink-placement options driven by all new firmware aimed specifically at the art of garment decoration. You can, for instance, lay down maximum white ink droplets at high resolutions allowing for, up to, 3 times more productivity than any other digital garment printer, according to ITE.

The !QW Interweave correction formula detects the hard edge commonly seen between each pass and compensates with an intelligent dot placement and ink flow to eliminate bleeding and resulting in sharper prints. Even with bi-directional printing the !QW dot replacement vastly reduces or even eliminates the band to band tone differences.

The Piezo Teflon coated head with 8 channels and 180 nozzles per channel forms part of the specification for the M series. Ink usage has also been considered by making use of an all new WIMS (White Ink Management System) which incorporates a constant 1.2psi pressurised peristaltic pump and slow roll agitator.

To see the M series visit Impression Technology Europe in Hall A3, stand B23 at Fespa Digital, from 24-27 May 2011.
