After the successful premiere in September 2022, the Akademie für Textilveredlung is organising the DTF Convention for the second time on 26 September 2024 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Speakers will address topics such as colour management, costing, industrial applications and workflow processes.

Presentations

In a lecture programme, experts will discuss the current developments in DTF printing technology. Bernard Hofer-von Hörsten from Print Equipment will scrutinize the "Further development of DTF printing with regard to industrial applications". "Calculation and costs: for whom is it worth investing in DTF?" is the topic of Philipp Klinger, Managing Director of Lynx Germany. Uwe Niklas from DP Solutions will shed light on the key to quality, namely "Colour management in the DTF process". Dennis Weißenberg from ColorMatch will talk about the "Profiling of DTF print products for the correct representation of colours on a textile".

Maximilian Bitzer from Brand Boosting GmbH will focus on "Digitalisation, e-commerce and digital marketing" and show best practices for SMEs. Under the title "More than just a trade fair: PSI introduces itself", Marlene Ramos from trade fair organiser RX Deutschland will present the PSI trade fair and the PSI network.

The latest DTF printing products on show

The DTF Convention N°2 will be complemented by an exhibition of 14 important suppliers of DTF printing systems, process solutions and materials such as films and papers, adhesives and inks. The companies taking part include ColorMatch PrePress & IT Solutions, DP Solutions, Forever, Graphic Competence Centre Germany (GCC), Lynx Germany, Maegis, Mimaki, Print Equipment, Ricoh, Secabo, STAHLS' Europe, Walz Solutions, Witpac Germany and X-tec Systems.

The textile brands Fruit of the Loom, Russell Europe and Jerzees from FOL International are once again opening their doors for the DTF Convention. The former canteen of the textile company at the Kaiserslautern site will once again be transformed into an exhibition space. The showroom on the upper floor will be transformed into a presentation stage. At the same time, the FOL team will be providing information about their collections and giving interested guests a tour of the European central warehouse.
