After the festivities, Brother doubled the collected donations, resulting in the impressive sum of €3,333 which was donated to the Brücken-Stiftung katholisches Waisenhaus. The Brücken-Stiftung is an organization dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and young people, offering not only financial assistance but also emotional and educational support. It has been present in the region for years, providing essential services for families in need, educational support, daycare facilities for children such as kindergartens or after-school care, and other educational projects.
David Koep, the Head of the Educational Support Division at the Brücken-Stiftung, emphasized the importance of support from local companies like Brother. "Thanks to donations like this, we can continue to implement projects that directly benefit the children and offer them new opportunities."
Social responsibility
This action highlights Brother's strong commitment to social responsibility and the value of community and solidarity in the Emmerich area. Jörg Haan, Managing Director of Brother, noted in a conversation: "It is very important to us to make a positive contribution to the Emmerich community together with our partners and customers. Our anniversary was the perfect moment to emphasize our social commitment and provide concrete assistance."
With this donation, Brother not only celebrated its long-standing company anniversary in Emmerich but also made a clear statement of support for the social projects of the Brücken-Stiftung.
