Ideal for textile frames and exhibition stand finishing
There’s a demand for an alternative to block-out textile with a white backside. Although these textiles are basically lightproof, the imprint of the front can be seen vaguely on the backside, because of the sublimation ink’s migration through the coating. This weakness is often noticeable when the banner textiles are hung in front of a window or other light source, or on a wall not of one colour. TTS’s Blackback provides the answer to this problem. There is no risk of ink migration, and it is 100% lightproof textile with a black backside. This makes it ideal for textile frames and exhibition stand finishing. Blackback is also more economic than variations with a white backside with their additional coating.
Direct dye sub and sublimation transfer
Blackback is suitable for direct dye sub and sublimation transfer with a high colour range as a result. Printing with UV curable inks is also possible. Blackback can be carefully folded and is highly stable in length and width, because it’s pre-shrunk at a high temperature. Besides roll widths of 160, 252 and 320 cm, Blackback is also available in 505 cm, meaning no more seams are necessary when a width exceeds 320 cm. This is another reason making it more economical, as well as ideal, for retail, stand construction, the catering and the exhibition industry.
