The move by Spies to Kornit Digital was designed to find a highly experienced market expert who understands the digital print arena and the role played by Kornit’s NeoPigment technology, in both the garment and roll textile segments. Spies’ experience as former senior product manager EMEA at Mimaki Europe BV and, prior to that, as product marketing manager  and channel sales development manager for Northern Europe for EFI assure that he’s the man for the job. The importance of looking after its client base and ensuring that the highest levels of contact and communication are maintained are critical to Kornit. As such, Spies’ new role is essential. It’s a move forward by the company to accommodate all segments of its business and to develop, co-ordinate and maintain full relationships with the growing numbers of major businesses involved with Kornit Digital.

Full business development

Spies will be responsible for directing full business development, encompassing hardware, software and consumables. He will also be working with customers on analysis and assessments of current and future requirements, as well as investigating new technology options and opportunities. His long-term experience in the digital printing arena will be invaluable to Kornit Digital for its continued growth plans. His combination of technical skills and marketing knowledge will be instrumental to the company’s continued success.
