Expo 4.0 Stuttgart
EXPO 4.0 is three fairs under one roof.

The European industry will meet at Expo 4.0 from 30 January to 1 February 2020. Around 14,000 trade visitors from 41 countries flocked to the last event in Stuttgart in 2018. The slogan Print.Produce.Promote clearly reflects the offering: exhibitors from the areas of textile finishing, printwear and workwear present their solutions at TV TecStyle Visions, WETEC stands for innovations in advertising technology, digital printing, light advertising and digital signage while GiveADays features innovations relating to promotional items and haptic advertising. An increasing number of overlaps are occurring both with the exhibited technologies and in the range of products. The synergy effects thus created produce genuine value-added both for users and suppliers.

TV TecStyle Visions – textile finishing in all its facets

In the last few years TV TecStyle Visions has systematically extended its leading position in Europe as the trade fair for textile finishing and promotion. Increasing internationalisation was reflected in 18 per cent international visitors at the last event. The broad range of exhibits in the areas of technology and accessories for all textile finishing processes is rounded off by textile manufacturers and retailers of corporate fashion, printwear and functional workwear. The presented know-how can be experienced in the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1): the accompanying programme in 2020 will contain daily fashion shows, a special technical show on the microfactory in cooperation with the German Institutes for Textile and Fibre Research, and the proven Technical Forum.

WETEC – hands-on advertising technology

In the Jacques Lanners Hall (Hall 3) WETEC will present innovations from the areas of advertising technology, digital printing, light advertising and digital signage. The international trade fair will impress visitors with a colourful accompanying programme: the WORK AND DO Area will demonstrate the entire work flow of an advertising technician, participation is expressly encouraged. As part of the accompanying programme the WRAPandSTYLE Area will show during talks, best practice demonstrations and technical hacks how car wrapping is best performed.

The exhibitor Mimaki will stage a gin label contest for the first time at WETEC: Advertising technicians, print service providers, pupils and students are invited to design the most appealing gin label. The only requirement for the design of the label is the incorporation of the horse from the Stuttgart coat of arms. Entries to the competition can be submitted up to 30 September 2019.

GiveADays – focus on sustainability

During GiveADays leading manufacturers and retailers will present for the fourth time innovations and products relating to promotional items and haptic advertising. Experts will present ingenious ideas in the Technical Forum and will provide inspirations for trade visitors from marketing, agencies and the specialist promotional item retail trade. In 2020 the omnipresent topic of sustainability will be the focal point of the exhibited products and the accompanying programme.
