During FESPA 2017 in Hamburg,  Brother will show how its new and innovative tools can support businesses during their daily operations. Using the Brother GT3 series DTG Printer can help advance businesses even further by optimising production and reducing costs. Brother will showcase its new Camera and Projection Tools (developed exclusively for Brother by its partner Brain Industries), which help reduce misprints when producing with the Brother GT3 Series DTG printers.

Walter Schulze GmbH, Brother’s dealer, will show the world’s first self-contained industrial pretreatment device for the full process of preparing garments, including pretreatment, drying and pre-pressing of textiles for DTG printing. The advantages are that the device is not only fully automatic, compact and space-saving, but that it also has a high quality standard and high performance per hour. And, last, but not least, it needs only one operator.

E-commerce, IoT and barcodes

There will also be networked solutions for the production process presented by Brother’s partner Smake, including new options for e-commerce, IoT (Internet of Things, i.e., the infrastructure of the information society), and process optimisation utilizing a barcode system. Smake EPS (Easy Positioning System) was developed for Brother’s production in embroidery and digital direct printing. It’s fast, safe and allows accurate positioning of motifs in embroidery, as well as the printing sector, through visualization of the motif onto the textile.
