After summer, ESMA will hold two events: the ESMA Conference and a workshop on 3D printing and additive manufacturing.

The ESMA Conference will take place on 26 September 2012 in Berlin, Germany – during EcoPrint 2012. Delegates will have access to practical and technical guidance from ESMA, making a positive step forward for a more sustainable print business.

The conference will be held in two parts: a morning session for screenprinting and an afternoon session for digital printing. This 10-step programme will be structured in cooperation with ESMA members, based on experience and know-how. The programme will be presented by Peter Buttiens and supported by a panel of members.

Esma workshop

The ESMA workshop on 3D printing and additive manufacturing will be held on 8 November 2012 in Liege, Belgium.

This workshop will take place at the premises of Sirris, a company with expertise in 3D printing. Three different technologies based on 3D printing with plastic and with metal will be explained and shown in their labs. Sirris will demonstrate aerosol printing, a recent print technology for a variety of materials. ‘

The cost of this workshop is €75 for members and €125 for non-members. You can participate in the morning or the afternoon session, with a maximum of 40 people in each session.
