In this edition
The new trend in textiles is working with materials that don’t make you feel guilty. In this issue, Maria José Leaño introduces loncell. Unlike environmentally demanding materials such as cotton or viscose, loncell is an ecological alternative that can also be recycled.
Sustainability is also a central theme at the World of Advertising and Selling, which will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 7-9 January 2020. The textile campus at PromoTex Expo will show sustainable textiles and in the PSI Sustainability Awards special area, nominees’ products and ideas can be admired, as well as winners and participating companies of the PSI Sustainability Awards 2019 and the PSI Sustainable League.
In this issue we also take a look ahead at EXPO 4.0, which will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 30 January till 1 February. Again, EXPO 4.0 will include the international trade fairs TV TecStyle Visions, GiveADays and WETEC, all under one roof. TV TecStyle Visions show will this time take place in the displayed in the largest hall of Messe Stuttgart: L-Bank Forum (Hall 1).
