When this issue appears, the year is almost over and soon we will be celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
Last year, many events could finally take place again after having been cancelled during Covid-19. All visitors and exhibitors were able to travel without limitations to these events and many shows saw in increase in number of visitors and exhibitors.
In this issue we will take a look ahead at PSI 2024. This show will see many exhibitors returning after Covid-19 as well. New this year will be a large Textile village where manufacturers, brands and suppliers will show their advertising and promotional textiles alongside the new collections for 2024. You can also read more about the annual press brunch and new products of the Choice Group.
Embroidery is still a popular decoration method. This was very obvious at Expo 4.0 show in Stuttgart and ZSK open house in Krefeld, two events I visited this year. Both events attracted many national and international visitors gaining information about available machines, accessories and applications. In this issue you will find an overview of current embroidery machines on the market. More information on trends in embroidery can also be found in this issue.
Digital printing and DTF printing are currently very popular printing methods, but screen-printing is still popular as well. Please read the articles on Artmeetschaos and color separation in this issue. After screen-printing was brought in-house, the Artmeetschaos brand has experienced dramatic growth.
Wishing you a happy Christmas and New Year’s Eve!
