Kornit Digital at FESPA

Kornit Digital will introduce three state-of-the-art, direct-to-garment printing systems for textile mass customization at FESPA 2017.

Storm Duo: optimized for light garment productivityKornit Storm Duo (2)

Kornit’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Guy Zimmerman, said, “As the market leader in industrial textile mass customisation, we are in a position to further expand and diversify our offerings. The new Storm Duo, which has been optimised for fast, double CMYK printing on light garments, is a leading example. At the same time, we keep expanding our software and workflow offering, so our customers can benefit from our technology as much as possible.” Fespa Hamburg will see the public launch of Kornit’s new Storm Duo direct-to-garment printing system, with a productivity of 200+ prints per hour. It will be a useful addition for garment decorators intending to centralize their white garment production, or for those who produce special products, such as tea towels. It includes several advanced features, such as a re-circulating ink system, an integrated ultrasonic humidifier, a battery backup system, and a quick-replace pallet mechanism.

Vulcan as cost-effective solution for medium runsVulcan By Kfir Ziv_096 r layers_small (2)

Unlike most traditional direct-to-garment printing systems, Kornit’s Vulcan sports a conveyor system for printed pallets with pre-treatment, white and CMYKRG printing happening in parallel. The Vulcan’s unique architecture allows it to print up to 250 garments per hour, both on dark and light garments. With extraordinary speed and ink efficiency, the Kornit Vulcan line is a definite cost-effective solution for medium runs. Not only does it have printing efficiency with parallel shirts printing, but it drastically reduces turnaround times. It also offers the lowest cost per print for run lengths between 50 and 500 garments.

Kornit Avalanche 1000 R-Series (2)

Re-circulating ink system

Also on display at FESPA will be the Kornit Avalanche Hexa R-Series. Its re-circulating ink system optimises print quality, reliability and ink efficiency. Users of the Avalanche R-Series can benefit from up to 20% in ink savings. Kornit will connect its systems at FESPA 2017 with Custom Gateway’s end-to-end workflow platform, which covers the entire supply chain, from website and personalisation front end through automated production and printing to packaging and shipping. The solution is flexible and suitable both for B2B customers (e.g. fulfilment) as well as B2C (e.g. customers with e-commerce websites).
