Products, technologies and processes that are new but already tested in the market – that is what the viscom Best of Award, which the trade fair presents for the 5th time already this year, stands for. Once again, all companies exhibiting at viscom can take part.
Prizes will be awarded in 5 categories in 2011. The Textile Printing category will now be replaced by the more narrowly defined Textile Finishing. Here the spectrum ranges from transfer printing to flaking right through to embroidery. The background to this decision is the fact that there had been frequent overlapping in the past between digital and textile printing.
Digital textile printing is now included in the Large Format Printing category. The remaining three categories are already familiar: Signmaking, Light advertising and Software.
