Maruba at Fespa: Ink Experts at Your Side

200_photo-fespa-preview

Marabu´s motto for Fespa 2010 reflects its dedication to provide tailor-made solutions to the screen and digital printing community. A comprehensive selection of its portfolio will be shown for the first time on two individual stands: screen products in hall A1/320 and digital in hall B1/440.

Marabu’s screen printing inks will be shown together with its cooperation partner Sakurai, and include tactile finishing and special effect ink applications.  The whole world of Marabu’s special effects, with over hundred individual effect prints including print parameters, will be presented in the best useful way – a fan.

The impact of effects on surfaces can be simulated immediately. In its screen printing portfolio, Marabu showcases for the first time the latest addition to the graphic ink package, a new UV-curable series for polypropylene materials of many kinds. Other highlights include UV-curable solutions for Membrane Switch, Glass, and Labels.

Fespa will be also the stage for the launch of the new Marabu- ColorDispenser “MCD Micro” – an automated ink dispenser for mixing colours, with an excellent price-performance ratio. It requires least space, and is even suitable for solvent-based Inks for the first time. The ideal solution for small and medium-sized Screen and Pad Printing companies. The MCD Micro is supported by the Fespa Innovator campaign.

With the addition of Liquid Coatings, Marabu is opening up new opportunities for both digital and industrial applications. With its cooperation partner Buerkle, a  manufacturer of industrial roller coaters, the new UV-curable Marashield range of products will be shown live on pre-printed UV inkjet prints. The Marashield concept is based on three pillars: primer, finishing, and protection, allowing customers to enter new applications with both rigid and flexible materials.

Clearstar Corp., a Marabu subsidiary, will present world-class waterbased Liquid lamination clears on the StarLam coater for flexible substrates. New offerings in the digital ink portfolio include new light solvent-based plug and print cartridges for Mutoh Valuejet and Mimaki JV33. The new hybrid UV Inkjet series, perfectly balancing rigid and flexible substrates, will be previewed at Fespa.

In supporting the Fespa 2010 Awards for the 4th consecutive event, Marabu confirms its commitment to this customer award program. Watch the live demonstrations on both stands and feel invited to discuss your individual needs with our ink experts in a comfortable atmosphere.
