Screen Printer’s Guide

Vastex_guide

A new 12-page ‘Entry Level Screen Printer’s Guide’ from Vastex International answers questions most frequently asked by entry level screen printers, provides step-by-step illustrations of the screen printing process, describes training classes available, and details complete shop equipment packages.

Free from Vastex International, the Guide answers seven frequently asked questions on floor space needed, sources for supplies and clothing blanks, press colour(s) desired, conveyor dryer selection, electrical requirements, artwork preparation, and septic system contamination prevention.

The Guide recommends classes taught by independent industry professionals having no connection to equipment sales, and details three entry level classes that teach screen printing fundamentals: a one-day ‘Entry Level Art’ class, a one-day ‘Entry Level Print’ class, and a comprehensive three day class called ‘Screen Printing A to Z’.
