Be creative. Prove your creative and technical skills in the field of textile finishing and participate I the completion the Golden Shirt Award 2012.

Fairs are places of communication and interaction. Here, people meet each other and social networks are created, they send and receive information, do business, interact and doing something together: communicating.

The Challenge
Communication in the light of Apparel – using the techniques embroidery, printing, flocking, rhinestones and laser! Design your community, you can meet people!
Participation is for all textile finishers, designers, students and students of textile disciplines and others interested in the textile community openly.

Mix it: The combination of at least two decorative techniques – embroidery, printing (screen, transfer and digital printing), Flock, Rhinestones and laser-branding is an entirely new mix! Try it out and create a piece of clothing, a bag, a flag or another applicable, textile product. Registration and submission deadline is 30th September 2011

Prices
1st place: ‘Golden Shirt Award 2012’ 3.000 Euro, sponsored by Anvil GmbH.
2nd place: 2.000 Euro, sponsored by Melco Europe AG.
3rd place: 1.000 Euro, sponsored by Madeira Stickgarne.
Special price: Flock Award 500 Euro, sponsored by Maag Flockmaschinen.

Jury
A 15-member jury, consisting of the members of the TV trade fair advisory board, select the winner of the Golden Shirt Award. Evaluation criteria are technical and creative implementation, attention to the theme ‘Communicate the community’ and the innovative aspect. Winners will be notified in writing prior to the show already.

Entries will be presented at the trade fair TV TecStyle Visions in 2012 in Stuttgart from 2 to 4 February. The organization reserves the right to preliminary selection.  The Golden Shirt Award winner will be awarded on 3 February 2012 as part of the TV show.
